Dog training goes beyond obedience and compliance. It's about nurturing a lifelong bond built on trust, respect, and understanding.
It’s more than just teaching your dog to “sit” or “stay”.
Training your dog starts with understanding their behaviors, and guiding them to respond in ways that help you navigate life together.

Are you living with any of these behaviors from your dog?
And it's driving you nuts!!!
- Barks in the house or yard
- Demands attention constantly
- Has poor leash skills: pulling, lunging or barking
- Shows signs of separation distress or anxiety
- Tears up things in the house
- Has aggression issues with people and/or other dogs
- Nips at people when they try to pet him
- Potty/house training is an issue
- Constantly begs for food
- Struggles with sound phobias - thunderstorms and fireworks
- Steals food off the counter or table or gets in the trash
- Jumps up on people
- Has a tough time going to the vet or groomer
- Bolts out the door when opened
Do you want to change them?

Meet your trainer
Hi, I’m Cheryl Tuttle, CCPDT certified, CGC Evaluator with AKC, and proud owner of Last Paw.
Just like you, I love my dogs and see them as part of our family!
And because of that, I want them to be well-behaved and have good manners so we can have a great relationship where everyone’s happy.
I’ve spent over 20 years learning about dogs, their behaviors, why they act the way they do, and how to keep them (and owners) happy.
In 2006, I was certified as a Dog Trainer through the Animal Behavior College and have been mentored by local Behaviorist Conni Borwick.
I love seeing happy dogs and owners, and believe everyone can have a well-behaved dog — with the right training.
I thrive on feedback and celebrating every win, big or small, with my clients. I love being their biggest cheerleader and trusted confidant.
If it’s your goal to improve your life and the life of your dog(s), then we can help you!
