About Kahla

When Kahla and Cheryl met, they began to devise a plan to incorporate another trainer into The Last Paw Dog Training. This opportunity would allow Kahla to work under Cheryl’s mentorship and learn how to teach others how to train their own dogs. Shadowing, assisting and studying alongside Cheryl has allowed her to follow the brand that Cheryl has developed for almost 15 years. Working closely together, Cheryl has groomed Kahla to take over the Basic Obedience Classes and therefore develop her own personal craft. Kahla also teaches Private In-Home lessons. In both Group Classes and Private Lessons, Kahla’s students develop the foundational training required for a successful relationship.

Kahla’s excels in the technical areas of dog training. She has the gift of breaking down the steps and teaching them in a way that can be easily understood by her students. Using the The Last Paw Online Portal, she has customized a virtual homework program for her students to help them practice when they are working their dogs at home, on their own.

As Kahla develops into a seasoned dog trainer she continues to study and learn dog training theory and behavior modification so that she can help grow her students' knowledge.
